Single dispatch. One session. Includes up to 3 hours.
Nonmedical accompaniment and recovery support. Additional time beyond 3 hours is billed at $75 per hour, in 30 minute increments.

Home recovery and hotel or Airbnb recovery are not the same workload for your specialist or for you. Out-of-town patients in unfamiliar spaces have greater needs and fewer local support resources. We price accordingly, so you get the right level of presence for your situation.

Your specialist arrives at your home with your surgeon's protocol in hand. Familiar environment, streamlined setup, all care delivered at standard package rates.
Hotel or Airbnb
+ $150 – $300 / session
Out-of-town patients need more. Your specialist sets up the space from scratch, manages an unfamiliar environment, and provides closer clinical monitoring since you are further from your surgical team. The add-on reflects the elevated care and time involved.
Exact add-on is confirmed during your pre-surgery intake based on location, tier, and session count.

When you book before your surgery, we reach out directly to your surgeon's coordinator to receive your discharge protocol and introduce ourselves. Most surgeons are relieved to know a clinical team is handling post-op logistics. Booking early means your surgeon's office, your ZAFI specialist, and you are all on the same page before you ever go under.
Who are the specialists? Are they actually qualified?
Every ZAFI specialist is licensed, credentialed, and background-checked. They're not caregivers or massage therapists. They are trained post-surgical recovery professionals with experience in your specific procedure type.
What if something feels wrong during my recovery?
Your specialist is trained to recognize early warning signs. If anything concerns them, they escalate to you and our care team immediately, so you can loop in your surgeon's office if needed. You also have a direct line to our team at all times during your program.
When is the right time to book?
As early as possible, ideally 1 to 2 weeks before your surgery date. This gives us time to contact your surgeon's team, receive your protocol, assign your specialist, and confirm your care plan so everything is in place the day you come home. We can accommodate last-minute bookings too, but early booking means a smoother, fully-coordinated experience from day one.
